Family Support Services (FSS) provides free, confidential support to Club members and their families. Through caring relationships and individualized support, our team helps youth strengthen their mental, emotional, and behavioral well-being while working alongside families to identify resources that meet their needs.
Whether a young person could benefit from someone to talk with, a caregiver is looking for guidance, or a family needs help connecting with community resources, Family Support Services is here to help identify a supportive next step.
How We Support Families
MENTAL & EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING
Individual counseling, group support, short-term crisis intervention, and tools that help youth navigate emotions, stress, relationships, and change.
FAMILY & CAREGIVER SUPPORT
A space for caregivers to talk through concerns, explore strategies that support their child, and connect with additional family resources.
RESOURCES & CONNECTIONS
Help navigating mental health care and connecting with community resources or ongoing services when additional support may be helpful.
A Supportive Approach
Our team is committed to creating supportive environments where youth and families are treated with dignity, respect, and care. BGCWC staff receive training in trauma-informed practices and positive behavior response, helping strengthen the support available to young people throughout the Club.
Family Support Services may also collaborate with caregivers, Club staff, schools, counselors, and community providers when appropriate.
Calming spaces across our Club locations give members a welcoming place to pause, reset, and reconnect alongside a caring staff member. With tools designed to support emotional regulation and self-awareness, youth can practice strategies that work for them before returning to Club activities.
Who Can Access Family Support Services?
Family Support Services is available to active BGCWC members at Club sites in Weld & Morgan Counties, as well as their caregivers. Youth may be connected with FSS by a caregiver or Club staff member or through self-referral when appropriate. Parent or guardian permission may be required for ongoing individual services.

Internships & Volunteer Opportunities
Family Support Services offers unpaid internship and volunteer opportunities for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience supporting youth and families. Through partnerships with educational institutions, FSS provides opportunities for students to build professional skills and gain experience as they prepare for future careers.
