GREELEY, CO – September 10, 2024 – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County is excited to welcome its new Director of Resource Development, Kyle Cunningham. Kyle comes to BGCWC with over a decade of experience serving in various fundraising and development roles, most recently as the Director of Development for KUNC and the Colorado Sound, where he led all donor, corporate support, and grant initiatives for the organization, including helping oversee record setting fundraising efforts in 2020, 2021, and 2022. Prior to KUNC, Kyle served in development roles at KOSU, his alma mater’s radio station in Stillwater, OK, and at KRCC in Colorado Springs, where he launched KRCC’s first ever major gifts program and ultimately rose to the role of General Manager.
“We are fortunate to have Kyle join the team. He arrives at an exciting time, on the heels of a successful capital campaign and the opening of our new Teen Center,” said CEO, Dave Dixon. “And we look forward to benefiting from his same passion, energy, and expertise that has led to his previous success,” he continued.
When asked about his new role, Kyle stated, "I am grateful for the opportunity to join the team at Boys and Girls Club of Weld County. I have lived in Weld County for four years now, and this community has captured my heart with its welcoming, neighborly culture. I am excited to get to know the BGCWC team, its community partners, and build upon the organization’s fundraising success. I am looking forward to connecting with and serving Weld and Morgan counties in my new role”
Kyle holds a BA in English from Oklahoma State University and officially started with the organization in late August.
