Jesse G. Named Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County 2024 Youth of the Year

Updated: Dec 30, 2024

Hope Breakfast 2024 was a morning filled with inspiration and generosity. We are so proud of all of our Youth of the Year finalists, Karina P., Braxton H., and Jesse G.

While each of these finalists had incredibly inspiring stories to tell, only one could be named Youth of the Year. The judges deliberated, and ultimately named Jesse the 2025 Youth of the Year.

Here's an excerpt from Jesse's winning essay;

"Boys & Girls Clubs has profoundly impacted my life, making me feel comfortable and welcome. The warmth I experienced from both the staff and the many kids, who later became lifelong friends, made me realize I wasn't alone in facing similar hardships and life experiences. I felt confident in seeking guidance and support from them for any questions or concerns I had. The open arms with which I was welcomed into the club introduced me to a new perspective on people, fostering a happier and more positive outlook on life."

Thank you so much to our panel of judges who were hand-selected to evaluate our Youth of the Year Finalists.
