GREELEY, CO – June 1, 2026 – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County is pleased to announce Steve Kinney has joined the organization as its Vice President of Operations and Programs to lead its operations and program strategy, overseeing organizational operations, program quality and development, staff leadership, and the delivery of high-quality Club experiences for youth across Weld and Morgan counties.
Steve Kinney brings 26 years of Boys & Girls Club experience to his role as Vice President of Operations and Programs for Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County. Throughout his career, Steve has served in a variety of leadership roles, including Club Director and Director of Club Operations, building extensive experience in youth development, Club operations, safety, and athletics.
Prior to joining Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County, Steve spent more than two decades with Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, where he supported multiple Clubs and led organization-wide safety and athletics initiatives. Throughout his career, his focus has remained on creating environments where young people feel safe, supported, and connected while providing opportunities that help them learn, grow, and succeed.
Steve was drawn to Weld County because of the opportunity to support Clubs across the organization while continuing to make a direct impact on the lives of young people. He believes Boys & Girls Clubs play a critical role in providing experiences and opportunities that many youth may not otherwise have access to, whether through sports, leadership development, academic support, or simply having a safe and positive place to spend their time.
As Vice President of Operations and Programs, Steve is excited to partner with staff, families, and the community to ensure every young person who walks through our doors has access to a safe, fun place where they can learn, grow, and belong.
