Boys & Girls Club of Weld County Welcomes New Vice President of Resource Development

GREELEY, CO – April 1, 2026 – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County is pleased to announce Elizabeth Winn has joined the organization as its Vice President of Resource Development to lead its resource development strategy and fundraising efforts, including donor relations and advancement, grant procurement and administration, and special event management.

Elizabeth brings 25 years as a nonprofit development leader advancing mission-driven organizations through strategic fundraising, community engagement, and collaborative leadership. Most recently, she served as Senior Director of Regional Development at Junior Achievement–Rocky Mountain, where she led regional revenue strategies across Northern Colorado and Wyoming, cultivated corporate, foundation, and individual partnerships, and collaborated closely with programs, communications, and finance teams to ensure alignment, transparency, and measurable impact. Her career has also included regional development roles with the American Heart Association and Girl Scouts of Colorado, building expertise in donor stewardship, grant writing, event management, board engagement, and organizational growth. Elizabeth is no stranger to Weld or Morgan counties having spent more than 16 years working with Weld County schools, nonprofit organizations, businesses, and community leaders, and brings a strong local perspective and commitment to strengthening opportunities for young people. She holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Nebraska and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wyoming.

“We are thrilled to have Elizabeth join our executive team. Her experience is invaluable and her history serving youth within many of the same communities we serve and working with many of our same partners will make for a smooth transition as she leads the growth of our funding initiatives—especially as we serve one of the fastest growing regions in Colorado and endeavor to provide access to as many ‘youth who need us the most’ as possible,” said CEO, Dave Dixon. “I look forward working with her and to the energy she will bring to our development efforts.”

“I am incredibly excited to join Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County and become part of an organization that is so deeply committed to empowering local youth,” said Winn on her new role. “I look forward to working alongside our dedicated team and partnering closely with supporters throughout Weld and Morgan counties and advancing the Boys & Girls Clubs mission together.”
