Last week, the Monfort Clubhouse was filled with excitement as the Colorado Rapids came out to spend time with our Club members. Thanks to the generous support of UCHealth, our kids were able to take part in a memorable indoor soccer experience that blended movement, mentorship, and the joy of learning something new.
From the moment the Rapids walked into the gym, our members lit up. The space transformed into an environment full of energy as members practiced skills, learned from inspiring athletes, and supported one another with encouragement and enthusiasm. For many of our members, this wasn’t just an afternoon of soccer — it was an opportunity to build confidence, explore new strengths, and feel supported by caring adults who believe in their potential.

Experiences like this have a powerful ripple effect. Inside that gym, our kids showed courage, teamwork, and curiosity — qualities that help them grow into leaders both on and off the court. Watching our Monfort members step forward, try new drills, and celebrate each other’s successes made clear just how meaningful these moments are.
We’re grateful for the partnership behind this visit. The Colorado Rapids and UCHealth are committed to increasing youth access to play, activity, and wellness across the state, and their time with our Club members reflected that mission beautifully. Their presence created memories our kids will carry far beyond that gym.
