The holiday season is a time for gratitude, kindness, and giving back—and our members at the Monfort Boys & Girls Club truly embraced that spirit this Christmas.

To show appreciation for those who keep our community safe and healthy, our kids wrote heartfelt letters to local firefighters, police officers, and nurses. These messages expressed gratitude for their dedication, especially during the holidays when many work long hours away from their families. Through this activity, our members practiced empathy, reflected on the importance of service, and learned that even small gestures can make a big difference.

But the giving didn’t stop there! Our incredible Torch Club members took on a special project to bring comfort to children in need. They hand-crafted several cozy blankets for pediatric patients at Banner Health. This thoughtful act not only provided warmth but also reminded these young patients that their community cares about them.
These projects highlight what the holiday season is all about—connection, compassion, and community. At the Monfort Clubhouse, we’re proud of the creativity and generosity our kids show every day. Their actions remind us that kindness is powerful, and that giving back is a gift in itself.
