The Faces of Our Mission: Staff Who Lead with Heart

Updated: Sep 29

This summer, we got to celebrate the amazing people who make the Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County such a special place. Our VIP Awards (Values in Practice) are all about recognizing staff who bring our values to life every single day.

Our values—Trust, Accountability, Teamwork, Creating Memorable Moments, and Serving Our Community—aren’t just words on a wall. They show up in the way our team works with kids, supports each other, and makes our Clubs feel like home. This summer, we got to shine a light on some incredible people who went above and beyond. Below are members on our Boys & Girls Club team that live those values.

Creating Memorable Moments

Dani Nieblas reminded us that the little things matter most. Her creativity and joy turned ordinary days into unforgettable memories for our members.

Serving Our Community

Olivia Molsen showed us what it looks like to give back with heart. She went above and beyond to connect with and support those around us.

Accountability

Perla Ramirez led by example, always following through and holding herself to the highest standard. Her consistency raised the bar for all of us.

Trust

Bri Ansbach built strong, reliable connections with her team and members. She showed us what it means to be someone others can always count on.

Teamwork

Jackie Escalera was the ultimate teammate—always stepping up, supporting her peers, and reminding us that we accomplish so much more together.

And because we couldn’t stop there, we also handed out some extra shout-outs:

Staff of the Month

Huge congratulations to Virginia Morris and Andrew Garcia for their dedication and outstanding work!

Program All-Star

Andy Salazar, thank you for your creativity, leadership, and the big impact you’ve had on our programs.

Anchor Award – Melissa Nava & Zaahir Zaro, you’ve been the steady, reliable presence our team and teens can always count on.

These awards aren’t just about recognition—they’re about celebrating the heart, passion, and talent of our staff. You’re the reason our kids have safe, fun, and inspiring spaces to grow.
